13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim reveals secrets in latest trailer

The game that doesn’t fit into a single genre, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, is coming to Switch on April 12 — that’s just a few weeks away. In anticipation, Atlus has released a brand new trailer for Vanillaware’s narrative adventure, Mecha versus Kaiju, hinting at some of the mysteries they’ll solve.

As the studio behind Odin Sphere, Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Dragon’s Crown, Vanillaware has a reputation for creating beautiful and unique games that break genre boundaries. Despite this, 13 Sentinels is the most ambitious title yet. Our friends at Push Square said so in an enthusiastic throwback when the 2020 PS4 version came out.

It sounds like 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is one of those games that you absolutely have to play as spoiler-free as possible, and for those of us who haven’t played it we’re doing our best!
