Ukrainian male student admits he doesn’t recognize Angelina Jolie

A 14-year-old schoolboy has admitted he didn’t realize Angelina Jolie was “very beautiful” when she walked into a cafe where he was having a snack in war-torn Ukraine.

The Hollywood star, 46, was filmed at the Lviv cafe in western Ukraine, where others raved about her presence and asked for autographs.

But Julian with his headphones paid no attention to the actress and the United Nations special envoy for refugees, who visited an orphanage during her surprise visit.

The boy, listening to music and checking his social media, went viral because of his lack of interest.

He told 1+1 Ukraine TV: “I was sitting at the table, overheard someone speaking English, and thought it was an American Instagram celebrity.

“So I recognized it as a certain celebrity, but didn’t know who it was.

“Actually, she’s very pretty, and in the movie, you know, she’s so much makeup that you won’t recognize her.”

The teen recalls listening to music and checking Instagram posts when Jolie went to the cafe.

“When I got home, my mom showed me a video that our neighbor shared with her and I was already famous,” says Julian.

“So while I was on my way home, I took part in all the [social media] public already.

“You know, it’s like a waking dream. It all seems real, but it’s as if you too could wake up and everything disappear. “

Jolie was seen Saturday in Lviv, where the actress and her entourage were rushed to safety during her visit to western Ukraine.

The footage shows Jolie rushing to safety when air raid sirens sound in the background.

One of her team members turned to the camera and asked the cameraman to “please no more”.

The first evacuees from the besieged Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol will arrive in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, about 600 kilometers east of where Jolie visited.

The humanitarian actor has visited several war-torn countries around the world.

In March, she was photographed in Yemen, where she met displaced families living in conflict zones.

She shared photos and details of her experience and tried to garner support for a fundraising conference.

Speaking on Instagram, she wrote: “As we continue to witness the horror unfolding in Ukraine, and call for an immediate end to the conflict and humanitarian access, I am here in Yemen to support those in need. people are in dire need of peace.”
