Actress AnnaLynne McCord posted a video of a poem she wrote in which she said she would make Russian president Vladimir Putin “warm up” if she were his mother.
AnnaLynne McCord has been mocked by social media users for a strange poem in which she declares she would love to be the mother of Vladimir Putin.
The 90210 actress, 34, shared outlandish thoughts regarding the Russian president on Thursday, and some Twitter users criticized her as “narcissistic” at a time when Russia is attacking Ukraine.
Her poem begins with an apology to the 69-year-old president for not being his mother.
She said: “If I were your mother, you would be so loved, held in the arms of the happy light.”
AnnaLynne spends the next few minutes discussing how different Putin’s life would be if he were surrounded by her love.
Although AnnaLynne has always targeted Putin’s mother, others have previously described her as a kind factory worker.
AnnaLynne goes on to say how she would be able to free the world from war if she was his mother.
She continued: “If I were your mother, the world would be warm. If I were your mother, if the world were cold, I died to make you warm.
“I died to protect you from injustice; violence; terror; uncertainty. I will die to give you life.”
Her words did not receive much support on social media with many calling her “ridiculous”.
One user replied: “‘Calm down. There’s no need to torture those who use cringe as a weapon.”
American TV personality Meghan McCain also responded: “I’m not sure if this is meant to be a parody or really people in Hollywood are just out of their minds.
“But thank you to this actress for making me smile for the first time in 24 hours.
However, all is not negative for the words of the star. One user seems to have backed her up and told people that they were simply receiving them incorrectly.
They said: “If you really listen to her words instead of just making flashy judgments, her point is that blind loyalty to country and power is an ego effort. to replace unmet emotional needs. And she was right.”
On Thursday, several anti-war protests were held across Russia as Russians showed they were not on the side of their leader.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson told ministers it was “a dark day in the history of our continent” following the invasion of Ukraine.
