A breath-taking optical illusion that shows you ‘colors you’ve never seen before’

TIKTOKER has blown minds to reveal a color you ‘can’t see on screen’.
User Kate Bacon shared a surprising optical illusion that she claims makes colors appear.
The color is called ‘true cyan’.
“I’m going to show you a color you’ve probably never seen before,” she told her 1.4 million followers.
“It’s called true cyan, and most TVs and monitors aren’t capable of producing this pigment.”
It works by tapping on a small white dot in the center of the screen for about 30 seconds.
The dot is surrounded by a large red circle and blue background.
After the 30 seconds are up, close your eyes.
“You’ll see a glowing orb, and that’s the true color of cyan,” she said.
It is true that most monitors cannot produce cyan in its purest form.
That’s because most use red, green, and blue pixels, known as the RGB color model, to create different combinations.
So while you may not see cyan at its best on screen, you’ve certainly seen it in the real world.
People in the comments on TikTok were torn as to whether it was the real thing.
Why not try and see for yourself?
