Through our data-driven matching service, we ensure a perfect match with open positions, allowing recruiters to hire better and up to 10x faster. Instead of a hard stop for the great talent that internal recruiters couldn’t hire, Circular allows them to simply recommend those talents. In-house recruiters gain access to a trusted stream of quality talent. And candidates benefit from being shortlisted directly to the best companies, while also receiving a premium hiring experience.
How did you come up with the idea for the company?
With the current shortage of tech talent, recruitment is more expensive than ever and takes longer than ever. More recruiters are exploring how to pool their efforts to find talent and fill positions faster and with less hassle. We knew that recruiters were already sharing talent informally in gated or private communities and we saw an opportunity to make this happen at scale and in a GDPR compliant way.
The desire to recommend is widespread – but it takes a new approach to make it a reality. So we began our mission to introduce a new way of hiring and make this existing talent sharing behavior mainstream.
How has the company performed during the pandemic?
We opened our remote market during the pandemic and this was a huge opportunity for us. Since the pandemic, there has been a tremendous surge in candidates looking for remote positions and companies that offer remote or hybrid work environments, and we are now able to meet that need.
What can we expect from Circular in the future?
We’ve now started in London and believe that if Circular works in London, it can work anywhere. After our latest round of funding, we will be increasing our product and engineering team and continue to develop the product and expand into new markets in the future.
