Appspace is the workplace experience platform that combines a modern intranet, room reservation, digital signage and more.
Now you can replace siled products that are costly to integrate and maintain with a single, easy-to-use platform that creates a better-connected workspace for over 10 million on-site, remote, and frontline employees.
How did you come up with the idea for the company?
Appspace is the first company to include all the solutions you need for workplace communications and workplace management – all on a single platform.
Today companies are investing more in the workplace to support their employees. Appspace creates a one-stop shop that keeps in-person and remote teams informed, connected, and productive.
How has the company developed in recent years?
Founded about 20 years ago, Appspace initially focused on digital signage to support corporate offices. Over time, Appspace added many features to support whatever an employee needs – whether in the office, at home or on the front line. In 2021, Appspace acquired Beezy, a leading provider of modern intranet solutions.
By integrating these intranet capabilities into the Appspace platform, Appspace provides everything a business needs to connect its people, places, and spaces.
What can we expect from Appspace in the future?
We will redouble the innovation built into our platform.
First, we plan exciting enhancements to workplace communications that will enable personalization of communications delivered by a mobile app, creation and activation of email campaigns, and deployment of managed screensavers.
For workplace management, we introduce a robust reporting and analytics engine to enable organizations to monitor workplace utilization and security measures. Continued improvements to our visitor management solution and the release of a concierge feature will allow companies to simplify their workplace management.
Finally, we’re expanding our leadership as the provider of the most technology integrations in our category, so Appspace can help companies get the most out of their technology investments. Deep integrations with Webex, Logitech, Elo, Synaptics, and Google allow companies to keep it simple when scaling.
Aside from our product, I’m proud to have witnessed the emergence of several people-led initiatives within the company. We have an active Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) employee group that aims to foster an inclusive environment. The group aims to identify and remove systemic barriers and challenges of race, creed, religion, gender identification, sexual orientation, disability, immigration, veteran status, or cultural status.
The DEI Group has four main areas of focus:
- Business: This team evangelizes and ensures that D&I is a core Appspace value reflected in the organizational structure, operational decisions, supplier and partner relationships, and the employee experience.
- Education: This team encourages and advocates for development opportunities for underrepresented groups within Appspace and promotes awareness of systemic and organizational challenges faced by these groups.
- Community: The community team plans and runs events that empower and empower underrepresented communities.
- Events: Finally, this team leads and facilitates the celebration of cultural diversity and fosters ongoing conversations through events, discussions and celebrations.
