Lord of the Rings fans have been getting a final taste of the new series The Rings Of Power, inspired by author JRR Tolkien’s extended notes, ahead of its premiere.
The first and second episodes of Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power will be released on Amazon Prime on September 2.
The final trailer, released on Tuesday before the series premiere, opens with an epic fight scene as Galadriel says: “My brother sacrificed his life to hunt the enemy. His duty is now mine.”
When Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark, is seen boarding a boat wearing armor and wielding a sword, she can be heard saying, “Stand with me. We didn’t get a chance to meet. “
After reviewing some of the series’ main characters, she continued: “It’s not fate, it’s not fate. Ours is the work of something greater. “
The series, set thousands of years before the events of the world-famous The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings books, will follow the events of the Second Age and the forging of the famous rings.
Saint Maud and His Dark Materials star Clark debuted as the powerful royal elf Galadriel, who was played by Cate Blanchett in the Peter Jackson films.
As the trailer continues to show a series of dramatic moments, a voice says: “Each of us, each of us, must decide who we will be.”
After the release of two trailers in July, viewers can afford to get a deeper understanding of the story behind the forging of rings.
A clip shows Halbrand, played by Charlie Vickers, behind bars as he says, “I’m not the hero you seek”, before the cut-scenes trailer Disa tells Durin IV: “One day Someday, this will be your kingdom.”
A series of tense scenes brings the trailer to an end with Galadriel saying, “There’s a rage in me,” before being told, “You’ve fought Galadriel long enough. Raise your sword.”
