A gingerbread house, a gun and a phone cord spur heated arguments in the Kardashian trial

A smashed gingerbread house, a phone cord and a gun were the focus of controversial testimony in a lawsuit over former reality TV star Blac Chyna’s lawsuit against the Kardashian family.
During her all-day testimony in a Los Angeles courtroom, Chyna said she wrapped the charging cable around the neck of then-fiancé Rob Kardashian and jokingly after his always-uncharged one night in 2016 when the two were celebrating the renewal of their reality show Gun Taken, Rob & Chyna.
She said she was rightfully furious later when their late-night celebration turned sour over his jealous accusations.
“I smashed a gingerbread house because I was really upset,” she said. “Then I damaged a TV.”
The attorney for the four Kardashian women charged in the case described all events as expressions of anger and aggression that made them fearful for their son and brother.
“You’re telling the jury that you stood behind him with a phone cord and wrapped it around his neck, and that was a joke?” Attorney Michael G. Rhodes said.
“Yes,” Chyna replied, generally staying calm when asked heated questions.
He later asked, “picking up a gun is funny?”

“That was a joke,” she said.
“For you,” Rhodes replied.
“For him too,” Chyna said.
In her $100 million (£77 million) lawsuit, Chyna alleges that Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, who observed testimony in court, related the events of December 14 and 15 Misrepresented 2016 to get her show canceled and ruined her TV career.
Chyna and Rob Kardashian had started dating in January 2016, got engaged in April and had a daughter in November, and started the show together.
When asked by her own attorney, Lynne Ciani, Chyna described the happy celebration they had on Dec. 14 when the Keeping Up With the Kardashians spin-off got the green light for a second season.
“It was exciting, we threw money and had fun, we were silly,” Chyna said. Footage filmed for the money toss show was shown in court.
She testified that she ripped Rob Kardashian’s t-shirt, “of us like playing and trying not to be sexy and take the t-shirt off, just do stupid stuff with my fiancé.”
He later played video games and ignored her as she wrapped the cord around his neck, Chyna said.
“I came after him and did it as a joke,” she testified, “to get his attention.”
Later, while Rob Kardashian was FaceTimeing in the bedroom, she stepped in and took his gun.
When asked by the Rhodes, “What on earth makes you pick up a gun?” She replied, “He’s been messing around with it so I grabbed it, I was having fun while he was on FaceTime with his friends was.”
There had been a cycle in the past where he would pick up my phone and post things off it and I was really fed up with itBlack Chyna
Neither slept that night, Chyna testified.
Rob Kardashian is prone to bouts of jealousy, she said. His doubts about being the father of their newborn daughter Dream led to a paternity test being filmed for the show.
She testified that on the morning of the 15th he picked up her phone, locked himself in a closet, and looked for signs of communication with other men.
Chyna said she could no longer deal with the allegations and the unfair scrutiny.
“There had been a cycle in the past where he would pick up my phone and post things from it, and I was really fed up with it,” she said.
She then smashed the gingerbread house and television, but denied she ever went beyond damaging property.
“Your sworn statement is that you didn’t hit him once all day?” Rhodes asked, his voice rising to a scream.
“No,” Chyna said.
“Not once all day?”
“No,” she said.
Chyna testified that she moved out of the house that day.
Chyna’s lawsuit claims the cancellation came from Kris Jenner, who told people in power of the show that Chyna physically abused her son and urged her daughters to do the same.
