Parents: King Viserys I and Alicent Hightower
Dragon rider? Yes, he rides the golden dragon Sunfyre who hasn’t appeared on screen yet
The window trickster himself, we meet Aegon Targaryen for the first time when he’s two years old, and spend the day whining in a playpen while the lords of Westeros indulge in a hunt in honor he. The infant Aegon was literally unknowing, his birth a dangerous disruption to the line of succession. As the king’s firstborn son, it was expected that he would be the next to rule. Fortunately, the budding feminist leader, King Viserys named Rhaenyra as his heir, and despite some doubts, he decided not to back that claim.
More than a decade later, we meet teenage Aegon, who turns out to be a typical privileged guy with a tendency to bully. Aegon is in the midst of his teenage years and has only stopped mocking his brother and grandson long enough to stare at the maids and masturbate outside the Red Keep window. (Royal baby powder might not be the most disturbing thing to fall out of a Westerosi window, but it’s pretty high on the list.)
At this point, Aegon shows no interest in the throne – but the same can be said of teenage Rhaenyra, who is more interested in dragons, cakes, fun, and *test notes*’s uncle. she. But in the end, everything changed. The seeds of change were sown in the same episode when Ageon’s alone time was interrupted by his obsessive mother, who grabbed his face to predict a bleak death under his control. hand of his sister if he does not step up and prepare to rule Westeros. A speech very similar to Otto’s once took root with Alicent, transforming her from a sweet, passive girl into a strong and bitter Queen. What will it do to Aegon, a twerp in authority who has little regard for the feelings of others?
