Wendy Mae Brown’s television credits include “Almost Never”, “River”, “Man Down”, “Porters”, “40 North” and “Casualty”. Her films include Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Evelyn Hoskins’ theater roles include the title role in Carrie, Spring Awakening, Assassins and Mrs Henderson Presents.

Waitress is based on Adrienne Shelly’s 2007 film, with music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles.

The story follows Jenna, a skilled cake maker in a small town who dreams of a way out of her loveless marriage.

A baking contest in a nearby county and the town’s new doctor may offer her a chance at a new life, while her waitresses offer their own recipes for happiness.

But Jenna must find the courage and strength within herself to rebuild her life. This beautiful musical celebrates friendship, motherhood and the magic of a cake well made.
