With 2022 coming to an end, Netflix has published lists of its most popular TV shows of 2022, divided into English and non-English sections. The non-English site has revealed that one of the most popular shows of 2022 was the K-drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo, with the series coming in at number two.

This is an impressive feat of the series as not only has the show been watched by a lot of people but it also scores critically critical as the show is currently running at 100% Rotten tomatoes. Not too shabby, right?

Impressively, this list is only the show’s viewership on the streaming platform, as the show is also aired on a South Korean TV channel, meaning even more people are watching the series than the Netflix charts indicate.

For those who haven’t heard of the show, Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a legal show starring Park Eun-bin as Woo Young-woo, an attorney on the autism spectrum who must deal not only with legal cases but also with differences between her and her fellow lawyers. However, thanks to her cleverness and photographic memory, Woo Young-woo can always get better as a lawyer.

While there are conflicting reports as to whether or not a second season has already been officially greenlit, discussions are certainly taking place with the release of the second season not expected at least a year. Given the show’s popularity on both Netflix and South Korean TV channels, a second season seems likely, but fans will have to wait for it to be officially confirmed.
