A man (20 years old) is in serious condition following a traffic accident in Co Kerry

A man (20 years old) is in hospital in serious condition after an accident in Co Kerry in the early hours of this morning.
ardaí in Killarney are appealing to the public for information on what has been described as a “serious road traffic accident” in the Kilcummin area.
“The collision with a single vehicle occurred around 4.10 a.m. in the Buddihans urban area,” Gardaí said in a statement.
“The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was taken to Kerry University Hospital, where his condition is described as serious.
“The road was closed this morning while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conducted a technical investigation of the crime scene. It’s now open again.”
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.
Anyone who may have seen a gold-colored Toyota Yaris in the Kilcummin area is asked to contact Gardaí investigations.
Likewise, any road users who were out and about in the Kilcummin area in the early hours between 4am and 4.50am and who may have camera footage (including dashcam) are asked to make it available to the Gardaí investigation.
