THERE IS a handy iPhone trick that fixes one of the worst loading errors.
Most of us charge our iPhones every day, usually overnight.

But if you’ve had an iPhone for years, you might have encountered a problem: a failed charge.
Maybe you forgot to turn on the power adapter, or maybe the USB cable was not properly connected to the adapter.
You may not have properly attached a wireless charger or not fully inserted the Lightning cable.
Any of these problems could mean waking up in the morning with no iPhone charging.
Luckily, there is a way to avoid this scenario entirely.
You can have Siri speak out loud when you connect your smartphone.
And she’ll talk even if you unplug it.
That way, you’ll know your iPhone is definitely connected properly when you plug it in.

And if the connection is accidentally disconnected, you will also be warned.
It works with Siri Shortcuts, a relatively new feature added with the iOS 14 update.
How to set up Siri charging notifications on iPhone
First, make sure you’re running the latest version of iOS in Settings > General > Software Update.
Then open Apple’s Shortcuts app.
Go to Automation and then tap the plus sign in the top right corner.
Now select Create Personal Automation.
Scroll down the list to find the charger, then select Check if there is a connection AND exam is separate.
Now tap Next and then go to Add Action.
Select “Speak text” and tap on it. Then tap the faint “Text” area to add words.
Siri says those words out loud, so consider adding something like “iPhone Charge.”
Now tap “Next” again and uncheck “Ask before running”.
Confirm with “Don’t ask” if the pop-up also appears.
And you can also disable “Notify me when done” to stop useless alerts.

Finally, tap Done and the process is complete.
Now Siri speaks when your iPhone is connected to or disconnected from a charger.
