One woman’s husband was fired from his job after his bosses found out she was an ex-porn star – which led to the couple moving into a van and starting posting vlogs to make a living.

Channon Rose, 36, had a difficult childhood. At the age of eight, her parents divorced and her father remarried to a woman who she felt was physically and emotionally abusive.

Channon suffered from mental health issues as a result of the abuse and was involved in prostitution while still a minor before turning to stripping at the age of 18.

A few months after stripping, she entered the world of adult films and began a decades-long career in the porn industry.

But Channon wasn’t content with her career and what she really wanted was to start a family.

She profiled on a dating site where she met now husband Travis Dean, 44.

But after Travis’ family found out about Channon’s past, they disapproved of the relationship and even fired him from his job at the family business when he refused to leave the love of his life.

Undeterred and deeply in love, the couple decided to try to make a living by posting vlogs on YouTube.

As the couple tried to increase their family, they documented their fertility struggles on YouTube, eventually reaching an audience of over a million subscribers.

After years of struggling with fertility, miscarriages and failed IVF, Channon and Travis were lucky enough to have two children; Snow, 3 in 2018 and Baby Storm in March 2021.

Excited, Channon began pursuing her other dream of traveling the world.

Saving up to buy an RV, the couple decided to take their family on a trip across the United States, documenting the trip on Instagram and YouTube.

With two young children, the couple faces some limitations on their adventure; Her newborn requires constant care, but that hasn’t stopped her.

Channon is often criticized, both for her porn career and her parenting choices, but she refuses to let the negative comments bother her.

“When I was eight years old, my parents divorced,” Channon said.

“My father cheated on my mother with my mother’s best friend and then married her.

“It was the worst thing that could have happened to me. My stepmother abused me physically and mentally for years.

“It got me in and out of mental hospitals, and I took the wrong path in life.

“I ended up becoming a child prostitute and then a stripper when I turned eighteen. A few months later I was shooting porn.

“After almost a decade in this unconventional career, I realized that I really didn’t want this life anymore.

“More than anything, I wanted to get married and have a family. I thought I wasn’t good enough for this life, but I tried anyway.”

After Travis was fired by his family, Channon says they decided to work for themselves and have been posting on YouTube ever since.

“Travis helps me film, and now that we have kids, he helps babysit while I’m making videos,” she added.

“We’ve been trying to conceive for years, we’ve been through miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. After years of IVF we now have two beautiful children and I am living my dream.”

After finally starting a family, Channon and Travis decided to follow another of their dreams and began experimenting with the van lifestyle.

“I’ve always loved the idea of ​​travel, so we decided to tour the US in an RV because there’s so much here that we haven’t explored,” said Channon.

“When we travel from one place to another, we drive about two to three hours at a time. So we don’t have to drive too far because the children are in child seats.

“Then we either stay in an RV resort or in the Boondock. We like to stay in RV resorts when we can because they are the safest option and we have access to electricity, water and wifi.

“We have boondock which is not so secure but very nice and secluded.

“It’s difficult to travel with two young children in car seats for any length of time. I’m constantly changing diapers, feeding her, or trying to get her to sleep.

“There will always be people out there who don’t want someone telling us we won’t last long on the road because our toddler doesn’t like being locked in the RV.

“I’m just letting them know our experience is different and we’re making sure our kids are in an environment where they thrive. “If at any point our kids hated that, we’d go home, but right now they love this life, and so do we.

“Life on the road is fantastic. It made me realize that the world is a beautiful place.

“It’s also made me realize that I don’t need as much stuff – in fact, I’m so much happier and less stressed when I’m on the go.

“We all became a lot closer and got to know each other better. We also learned to be more patient.”
