Actress Cate Blanchett and chimpanzee expert Dr Jane Goodall join the AIB sustainability conference

Oscar winner Cate Blanchett and chimpanzee expert Dr Jane Goodall are participating in the AIB sustainability conference, to be held later this month.

His one-day virtual conference is titled ‘No Time to Waste’ and its organizers invited the public to participate: “Join us for thought-provoking insights from local and global leaders who are using their platforms to demand action and bold pioneers who have led the way.”

Australian acting legend Blanchett has scheduled a “fireside chat” that will last for half an hour from 9:15am.

Blanchett has forged a hugely successful screen career over the past three decades, winning two Oscars along the way.

The Melbourne native is a Global Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR, the United Nations Agency for Refugees.

She is a lifetime member of Conservation Australia, a strong supporter of the Actors Charity Foundation, SAG-AFTRA, Wildlife Conservation Australia, AFI Ambassador and Union Patron. Sydney Film Festival and the NIDA Foundation.

Meanwhile, renowned chimpanzee expert Dr Jane Goodall will also participate in a chat by the fire from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
