Adam discovers his relationship with Paige after Jacques’ shock escapes from Love Island

Adam Collard continues to explore his relationship with Paige Thorne after her partner Jacques O’Neill left the Love Island mansion to focus on mental health.

his return to former personal trainer Adam, who rose to fame as a heartthrob during his time on the show in 2018, created tension between the couple after he gave his opinion with Paige about Jacques’ behavior at Casa Amor.

Following Jacques’ shock in Tuesday’s episode, Adam was seen pursuing his relationship with Paige when he chose her for one of three dates.

At the start of Wednesday’s episode, Adam pulled Paige aside to ask how she felt about Jacques leaving, to which she replied: “Yes, it’s not a great situation but I’ll keep smiling. smile, keep doing your job, have a good time. Whatever happens, must come.”

He added: “When Jacques left, I thought they thought I was going to stir, which wasn’t because I made it pretty clear that I’m after you and I want to get to know you.

“I just wanted to let you feel it and see how you feel about the situation.”

Later in the Beach Hut, Adam admits he “hit the jackpot” when Jacques left the mansion.

He added that if the rugby player were in the villa, he believes Paige would still be happy to get to know him after revealing that Jacques kissed a Cheyanne Kerr bombshell in Casa Amor.

Adam who grew up in Newcastle had the opportunity to choose three girls to date at the Hideaway Terrace, with Summer, Danica and Paige being selected.

During their time with Summer, they discussed ideal dates while with Danica she treated him to a quick dance lesson.

Adam talked about deeper topics with Paige during their date as they discussed what they bring to the table in a relationship, and he admits that he likes to do things that are “spontaneous.” “for his life partner.

In The Beach Hut later, Paige said that she thought the date went “well” and that she was “looking forward to having a few more flirty conversations and seeing where it goes”.

She added: “Obviously it doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy and it doesn’t mean I’ve turned off my emotions but do I look forward to potentially having more conversations with Adam? Yeah sure.”

Adam also later admitted to the boys that while he enjoyed his dates with Summer and Danica, he had “saved the best for last” with Paige.

He added that he was grateful for some alone time with her and described her as “wife material”.

The episode also saw Brit award-winning singer Becky Hill bringing some light to the islanders by surprising them with a performance in the mansion garden.

The I Could Get acquainted To singer treated them to a selection of her hit songs including Crazy What Love Can Do and My Heart Goes as they danced the night away.

After the performance, Danica Taylor said: “She’s completely out of her mind, so grateful and blessed to be here right now and to have witnessed it.”

Ekin-Su Culculoglu added that she is a “big fan of Becky Hill” and described the moment as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity”.
