Adam Lallana impresses in provisional Brighton manager role

Adam Lallana is doing very well in his temporary new role – as assistant head coach.

The injured midfielder has helped interim boss Andrew Crofts after Graham Potter and his team left the club.

Albion Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Paul Barber said: “When I called Adam Lallana to see if he could support Andrew Crofts, Shannon (Ruth) and Nick (Stanley), the enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism was surprising that were meted out to me, even the highest expectations I had.

“That says everything about Adam Lallana and the kind of person and professional he is.

“Same goes for Andrew Crofts and Shannon – they were at the training ground at 7am on the morning of Graham’s departure to make sure they were in the best possible spot.

“And to offer the best possible support to the players in the last few days leading up to the Bournemouth game.

“It’s just typical of the kind of characters we have at the club. Full credit for being the people and professionals they are.” Adam Lallana impresses in provisional Brighton manager role
