Added Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball, Shining Force 2, and Space Harrier 2 to the Switch Online library

A trio of games have been added to the SEGA Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online library.

These games are Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball, Glossiness 2and Space Harrier 2. With a membership to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, you can play them all right away.

In Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball, Dr. Robotnik’s Fortress a giant pinball machine. You must help Sonic spin, bounce and smash through four different pinball zones made up of caves, sewers, lava and machines to collect Chaos Emeralds and save the denizens of Mobius.

Shining Force 2 joins the original Shining Force in the library, and in this tactical RPG fantasy adventure, you’re tasked with leading the Shining Force in battles against an ancient evil that threatens to take over the land.

The action game in which you fight evil creatures, Space Harrier 2, has also been added. The game was one of the original launch titles for SEGA Genesis.

These games complement other SEGA Genesis games such as Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Castlevania: Bloodlines, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, Streets of Rage 2, Echo the Dolphin, Contra: Hard Corps, Altered Beast and many more.

The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership plan provides access to classic Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis games with online play. Paid membership also grants access to Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass DLCs.

Members of both Nintendo Switch Online plans can enjoy online gaming, a Save Data Cloud feature, access to over 100 classic NES and Super NES games, a smartphone app, and online competitive games Tetris 99 and PAC-MAN 99.
