BBC Radio 1 presenter Adele Roberts, actor Stephen Fry and author Richard Osman are among the nominees at the Audio and Radio Industry Awards (Arias).
Also on his shortlist this year are Labor MP Jess Phillips, broadcaster Naga Munchetty and former Radio 1 presenter Annie Mac.
The awards ceremony, which celebrates the audio and radio industries, returns on May 3 with an in-person ceremony at the West End’s Adelphi Theater hosted by TV and radio star Rylan.
Roberts was nominated for the Radio Times Moment of the Year Award for her return to Radio 1 following her colon cancer announcement in October.
She faces a host of competitors including Mac, who is hosting her last show on Radio 1 after 17 years with the station, Osman, who reveals his binge eating on Desert Island Discs, and Munchetty, who spoke on Radio 5 Live about her squatting pains speaks.
Also nominated are The Moment Irish jockey Rachael Blackmore won the Grand National, on talkSPORT, and Reverend Cheryl Meban’s Memory of Sarah Everard, on BBC Radio Ulster.
Comedian and actor Fry is nominated for Best Factual Series for Edwardian Secrets via Audible.
He competes against Brixton: Flames on the Frontline, a BBC Radio Current Affairs series for Radio 5 Live and the popular spoken word series Have You Heard George’s Podcast? Chapter 3 of George the Poet, for BBC Sounds.

Phillips and her podcast Yours Sincerely take on BBC Radio London’s Eddie Nestor and Emma Barnett for Best Speaker on the Women’s Hour.
The other 25 categories include awards for Best New Show, Best Music Breakfast Show, and the Comedy Award.
Comedians and fellow Mock The Week panelists Rosie Jones and Rhys James compete alongside BBC Radio 4’s alternative soundscape show The Skewer for the Comedy Award.
Events listed for the Best Coverage Award include BBC Newsbeat’s COP26 Summit, BBC Merseyside’s Liverpool Together and Absolute Radio’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
Both BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT are nominated in the category for their coverage of the Euro 2020 final.
