ADELE’s dramatic cancellation of her Las Vegas concerts comes after a series of set-up booms that derailed production.
The superstar left fans – some of whom paid up to £9,000 for tickets – devastated when she announced this week that Her performances at Caesars Palace will not resume.
In one tearful video posted on social media, she blamed the last-minute delay on “half of her crew” working with Covid.
But our sources say the production has long been in jeopardy due to conflicts behind the scenes, including with famed set designer Esmeralda Devlin.
Brit Esmeralda, better known as Es, previously worked with Adele on her world tour in 2016.
But it is understood that she and singer Hello had been arguing during the preparations for the opening night of her latest concert.
A source told us: “Despite the film costing millions of dollars to put together, Adele was not happy with the result and she made it clear how she felt about Es.
‘Hesitating too much’
“She was so nervous and the fall sent her into a spiral of panic because she was desperate that everything had to be perfect.”
A second source said how the stock had arrived after production was thrown into disarray by “endless changes” to the running order.
They revealed, “There was no real clarity around what Adele wanted for the show because there were countless changes made during production.
“It seems that while she has always enjoyed a makeover performance, she has been under some pressure to put on a massive splendor.
“So there was an ongoing argument between those two versions about what the show should be, and it sparked some pretty explosive arguments.

“Most shows have teething problems of one kind or another, but there was a time when it felt like these shows were headed for disaster.
“Everyone knows that Adele suffers from anxiety when it comes to performing live, so it’s hard to imagine her going on if she wasn’t happy. “
While Adele’s gigs sold out online immediately in the lead-up to the sale, prices on resale sites are said to have started dropping earlier this month.
And notably, a statement released by Caesars Palace last week made no mention of Covid, but noted: “Creating a performance of this magnitude is extremely complex.”
The source added: “Adele is very excited about these performances. But when they start to work, they have too much hesitation and conflict to work”.
Our revelation comes as Adele tries to win back her fans by FaceTiming them personally – and giving them free merchandise.
Yesterday, a notice was scrawled on the mirror on the Adele store at Caesars Palace: “Hi guys, I’m sad not to be with you tonight, but I know some of you were here, so go out and see the costumes, take pictures of whatever you want for yourself and with each other.
“There were people in my room who worked with shops and merchandise. There are members of my management also here to show you around.
“And any of you here coming to the show this weekend can have a gift for me! I’m so sorry again, Love Adele x”
Or as one fan might say, “I went to Vegas to see Adele, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.”
Dornan and Cumming’s Uncertain Duet
JAMIE DORNAN had a secret karaoke party with Alan Cumming Down Under, the troubadour.
While filming BBC1’s hit series The Tourist in Adelaide last year, Jamie mixed Disney songs with his co-stars.
Jamie said of their unlikely duet: “I don’t like karaoke. I need to really care and be with people who really know me and understand me.
“With that said, I ended up doing karaoke with Alan. So I took my kids with me and we sang Let It Go from Frozen. It was one of the best moments of my life.”

“The last two years in television have really changed a lot.
“For me, seeing color off-camera, behind-the-scenes, has a very positive connotation.
“Now I can walk into a room and not have to worry if someone has my foundation on – that side of things seems small, but it’s a big deal.”
Oti is also pleased to see more women participating in TV shows about people of color.
She said: “It is so inspiring to see Alex Scott perform sports shows and Anita Rani there is a game show. ”
Oti, who is touring the UK with her I Am Here show from April to July, says she will meet the Strictly producers next month to decide her fate on the show. BBC1 programme.
“Those conversations happened in February,” she added.

Hef fell in love with the doctor
The owner of PLAYBOY, Hugh Hefner, surrounds himself with female “bunnies” but is actually in love with another guy.
Claims in a new episode of the American documentary Secrets Of Playboy, show that Hefner has a crush on Dr. Mark Saginor.
Jennifer Saginor, who grew up in the famous Playboy mansion, said: “I believe that the love of Hef’s life is my father.
“They had a physical relationship in the context of these different institutions.
“The orgies started as an opportunity for people to experience their open sexuality.
“And that kind of turned into something a little more sinister.
“It’s a more interesting trade and that probably stems from their childhood.”
Saginor was later charged with drugging the girls and had his license suspended.
The charges were dropped after he enrolled in rehab.
Jennifer said: “They started spending time together again, especially towards the end of Hef’s life.
“When Hef passed, the person beside him was my father.”
With a net worth of around £63 million, Harry Styles is in a good position to invest in brick and mortar.

A source said: ‘Harry loves Cornwall and thinks it’s beautiful.
“He loves how rugged the landscape is and loves connecting with nature.
“He would love to get a pothole there and would love to buy a house near the water.
“He was prepared to spend up to £10m on a suitable property.”
Harry, who owned three houses in North London, was spotted by a fan taking a dip in the sea last week.

Let’s hope that doesn’t cause Posh’s nose to stray too far.
Kelly hopes with Sid
As the daughter of the Dark Prince, the chances for Kelly Osbourne to team up with a nice pair of flats are never high.
Her new man, rocker Slipknot Sid Wilson, has a lot in common with Kelly – as both have battled drug addiction in the past.
Sid became an addict while in school.
In a 2019 interview, he said cocaine was his least favorite drug because “other things last longer and are stronger.”
He went on to reveal that he used to be a “crazy, out-of-control rock star”.
But he now says he “hates drugs” after bandmate Paul Gray died of a drug overdose in 2010.
So hopefully Sid can help Kelly, who revealed she returned to rehab for a drink problem in October, with any tough magic.
A source said: “Things are going well for them.
“Her father, Ozzy is also a big fan of Sid.
“He said he wanted to be the tenth member of Slipknot.”
Perhaps a cameo is in order.
Hilary may be involved
HILARY DUFF may be related to Britney Spears’ struggles after also gaining attention as a child.
She landed the lead role on the television show Lizzie McGuire in her youth.
She said this week: “I 100% relate to and feel for her. It’s unfair what we did to her.
“Halsey shaved her head and it was celebrated.
“Britney Spears shaved her head a long time ago and was like, ‘She’s out of her mind, get her checked out!’ ”
Sky is very angry about it
WE can see why US singer Sky Ferreira is in the spotlight to play Madonna in the upcoming biopic about her life.
Sky, who played Madge for a V mag photo shoot in 2012, was invited to perform at her home when casting began.
British actress Florence Pugh was also involved.
A source said: “Sky has a great voice and has covered Madge’s songs many times. She also has that special edge.”
We hope she can Take A Bow.
