Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler voluntarily entered rehab after relapse

Aerosmith released a statement informing fans that the June and July Las Vegas residency dates will not take place after frontman Steven Tyler enters rehab.

Steven Tyler has relapsed into pain medication after having surgery on his foot and has “voluntarily” entered rehab, his Aerosmith bandmates have confirmed.
The band released a statement on Tuesday, which revealed that they had to cancel their first stay in Las Vegas in June and July to allow the 74-year-old musician to focus on his health. and back on the road to recovery.
The statement, shared on social media, read: “As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sanity for many years. .
“We will continue with the 2022 dates starting in September and we will notify you of any further updates as soon as possible.
“We are very disappointed that we have inconvenienced so many of you, especially our most loyal fans, who often travel great distances to experience our performances. we.”

It concluded: “Thank you for your understanding and support of Steven during this time.”
Fans were quick to react to the news, with the majority sending well wishes to the forward.

Tyler has previously completed a number of rehab visits – most recently in 2010 for “10-year trauma management of pain and addiction to prescription painkillers”.
He also completed missions in 1984, 1986 and 1988.
The star was last seen publicly on April 3 when he attended a Grammy Awards viewing party in Hollywood.
