A HOUSE was devastated by a large fire that spread from a garage.

Eight fire engines responded to the devastating fire that destroyed the home’s roof and garage.

Crews were at the scene at Lambourne Close, Furnace Green, near Crawley, around 5.50pm yesterday.

The incident was rolled back at 7:30 p.m.

The home’s conservatory was partially destroyed by the fire, while a neighboring shed was also damaged.

Crews from Crawley, Horsham, Henfield, East Grinstead and the Surrey Fire and Rescue Service attended.

It is not known whether there were injuries at the scene.
