Agricultural services group Origin Enterprises has acquired British company Keystone Environmental.

eystone is a UK based independent provider of ecology solutions.

The company specializes in the conception, planning and delivery of complete solutions aimed at minimizing risk for customers and the environment.

“Keystone is a great fit with Origin to develop our green services for our existing customers and their strong customer base,” said Sean Coyle, Origin’s chief executive officer.

“Investing in this sector is a top priority for the group as we expand our sustainable land use offering. We are pleased to welcome the Keystone team to the Origin group and look forward to working together.”

Last month, Origin Enterprises reported rising earnings after favorable conditions during the key planting and application periods of the year.

The group, which offers agronomic advice, crop inputs and digital farming solutions, found trading conditions to be “generally very good” throughout the year.

Origin reported operating profit of €119.7 million for the year ended July 31, up 96.3 percent year-on-year according to annual results.

Group revenue increased 41.2 percent to 2.3 billion euros, while Origin’s operating margin also increased to 5.1 percent from 3.7 percent.

Origin said commodity price inflation was the main driver of sales growth, but it also disrupted fertilizer volumes over the year. Agricultural services group Origin acquires British company Keystone Environmental
