Air ambulance at Pulborough field where ‘glider crashed’

AN AIR ambulance is in a field where a glider is believed to have crashed.

The incident happened just after 11.30am this morning in a field off the A283 Pulborough Road, Pulborough, near Storrington.

An air ambulance is on site, as are two road ambulances.

The glider can be seen tilted on its side.

A passerby said they thought the glider “crashed” in the field.

Sussex Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service have both been asked for comment.
