Air ambulance takes part in crash at Heathfield

A ROAD was partially blocked and an ambulance was present after a crash.

The accident happened at around 1.30pm this afternoon on the A267 Little London Road, Heathfield.

The air ambulance was called along with at least three road ambulances.

It is unclear how serious the injuries are and how many cars are involved.

The air ambulance landed in a nearby field.

The road was closed for over an hour.

The salvage work to clear the vehicles was still in progress at 3:30 p.m

The road has since reopened and delays are decreasing.

Sussex Police have been asked for comment.
