Comedian Alan Carr is ‘distantly related’ to Jonathan Ross as they grew up in the same area together

Alan Carr and Jonathan Ross are related – and the comedian has revealed exactly how.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Life’s A Beach podcast – with 61-year-old TV presenter Jonathan appearing as a guest – Alan, 45, explained that they are both from Margate in Kent and are “interested in” distant kinship”.
He said on his show: “People may not know this, but your lovely late mother came up to me at your Halloween party and said, ‘Are we in a relationship? “. Do you remember?
“I’m excited because we’re from the same area, we’re distantly related. I remember walking past where you said, ‘Jonathan, Jonathan your mother says we’re related'” and you said, “For the sake of” .

Jonathan laughed, adding: “I tried to keep her from talking to people because she always found some sort of famous connection.”
Alan later told him: “That’s a pretty strong bond.”
Then Jonathan asked surprised: “Really? I don’t know if I want to get involved with you.”
Alan panted: “What! F**k you.”
Jonathan continued: “I watched the episode Who Do You Think You Are? And you have a deserter in your family. I don’t know if I want to be haunted by that.”
He continued: “We’re in a relationship – I forget that.”
“But we don’t look alike, do we?” Alan asked.
Jonathan said: “Well, neither of us have the looks, let’s be honest. But you remove makeup so well, you just don’t do it that often!”
Alan laughed as Jonathan continued: “You know! I’ve seen you look very handsome.”
Flattered by his compliment, Alan thanked him before Jonathan added: “You do, you have a handsome face.”
Alan joked: “You’re full of s**t!”
In recent days it has been revealed new single Alan is going to Stateside in an attempt to break up America.
Alan has shot to fame in the US with his appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and its current UK vs the World series – and with his growing popularity, he’s scheduled a few gigs. Intimate concerts to test the waters.
It happened after he split from husband of three years Paul Drayton after 13 years together.
The comic, whose close friend Adele lives in LA, is in the middle of his backpacking tour in the area, and explains: “I’ve explored a bit of Europe, I’m going back to Australia and New Zealand – I love it – and I finished Canada.
“And, this is an exclusive event, I will be doing some very, very small dates in the US. I’m scared. Should I be afraid?”
