Online Albion is gearing up to kick off season 15 with a new update tweaking Might and Favor, changing dungeons, balancing combat, and making some quality-of-life adjustments. Got a new Crystal League map, some updates to compete with, and also starting to test controller support.
This latest round of changes to Might and Favor represents an ongoing response to balance that begins after these two systems are added to the changes that will come to Lands Awakened. Might and Favor gains from certain activities have been increased from 5%-31% based on data. The new numbers will also work with a bunch of tweaks to Might challenges, aimed at making Might progress easier with an increase in activities players can perform in all day. Some of the boosts include earning an additional 5% by defeating Spider-Spiders or an additional 31% from collecting and fishing.
Dungeons also received some love in this update, following the previous changes made to static dungeons with The land is awakened. Those changes enhanced the rewards and increased mobs you join, and random dungeons received some of the same changes. With this update, random dungeons of all floors and area types will receive random upgrades to boost mobs and rewards. If the dungeon you are entering is in effect, there will be a visual change to the entrance. Static dungeons also get another change to mobs this round to keep them balanced for groups to join and make them harder to solo.
Some of the quality of life changes in this update include an automatic silver pick up feature, which allows you to automatically get your silver in most cases, but you can turn it off in the settings. there are improvements to the team marker so that players who are not on the team have their markers persist through the region changes. You will also receive a notification if you sell something on the market for more than your original asking price. Treasure mobs will now remain on the minimap until they are fully harvested.
There’s also a bunch of combat balance changes and tweaks to Hideouts that will increase the range of the protective bubble from 15m to 50m to help with defense.
Overall, this is a pretty packed update in terms of how it both continues to balance previously added features, and continues to add and expand the experience. You can read the full update notes at Albion online.
