Aldi Ireland gives major update on Prime drink as shoppers go wild for KSI and Logan Paul products

ALDI Ireland has issued a major update after shoppers across the UK swarmed the supermarket to get their hands on its new Prime sports drinks.
The viral drink, created by YouTube stars and former rivals KSI and Logan Paul, hit shelves for a limited time only on Thursday.

However, fans here in Ireland looking to get into the energy drink frenzy may have to wait some time, as an Aldi spokesman confirmed there are currently no plans to stock the drink in Irish stores.
They said: “Aldi Ireland can confirm that there are no plans to stock Prime Hydration Drink in Ireland.”
Chaotic scenes were seen in supermarkets across the UK after Aldi struck an exclusive deal with the sports drink brand.
The demand for the product, which was initially only sold in Asda stores, was so high that scuffles broke out in the retailer’s aisles as fans fought to snag the last stock.
Aldi has decided to limit the quantity a customer can buy to only one available flavor per customer.
This resulted in customers having to queue in the early hours of the morning.
One shopper posted to Facebook before 8am, writing: “I’m lining up at Aldi for Prime like the tipping dad that I am.”
Another wrote to the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group: “One hour already lined up for everything for Prime. What we do for children.”
One tweeted: “I’m in line for Aldi to open in 40 minutes. My son assured me that Prime is sold here today.”
And another fan from the shopping group posted to say they’ve been queuing since 6am, joking, “When does the first bus get there for the opening?”
Queues are reaching parts of London, Norton, Plymouth and Pontypridd in Wales, according to social media posts.
Advertised as a “hydration drink,” Prime is primarily water with vitamins and minerals and is low in calories with no added sugar.
It also consists of coconut water, but contains no caffeine.
The drink’s popularity grew after YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI promoted the drink at high-profile celebrity boxing matches in the UK.
The duo came up with the idea for coconut water-based Prime Hydration after their last boxing match in 2019.
During a live stream, the two said they wanted to “compete with the biggest companies in the world” with their products – which include “Pepsi, Cola, Gatorade and Powerade.”
The drinks will be sold in 11 flavors – including blue raspberry, tropical punch and grape.
