Aldi is now selling Apple AirPods for just £99 in a shockingly rare deal

ALDI knocks out Apple’s bargain priced wireless earbuds of just £99.99.

The original Apple AirPods launched in December 2016 and was ridiculed by many at the time.

But since then they have become a popular and fashionable gadget that has made wireless headphones widely available.

The original model was discontinued and the Apple AirPods 2 were introduced in March 2019.

Now UK retailer Aldi peddle the AirPods 2 for £99.99.

They normally retailed at £110 – and £159 when they were launched in 2019.

These AirPods have the typical headphone design that we all know.

They are completely wireless and have a comfortable fit for most ears.

You can control playback (and even your phone) using built-in Siri functionality.

There are tap functions on the sides of the earbuds, allowing you to play or skip songs or answer a call.

You get up to five hours of music playback per charge—or three hours of talk time.

And with the included charging case, you can charge the earbuds on the go.

Optical sensors built into the earbuds tell the AirPods when they’re in your ear.

This allows them to automatically pause music playback when you pull out a bud for a quick chat.
