WHATSAPP is making eight big changes to the app – and you need to know everything about them.

The popular chat app is constantly getting updates, delivering new features and fixing annoying issues.

These features are typically tested in the “Beta” trial version of Whatsapp First.

And the WhatsApp investigators WABetaInfo have taken down the app for some big changes.

Some of these features are now available with the latest WhatsApp app update.

Others can only be tried in the beta app.

And some are “in development” which means you can’t try them yet.

WhatsApp new features revealed

Here is the full list…

  • Time to retract messages extended to two days (now live)
  • Ability for group admins to undo texts sent by members
  • Ability to submit bug reports within WhatsApp
  • Announcement when a phone number is shared with a business
  • Ability to send texts from a linked device to yourself
  • In-app polls for submitting feedback
  • Ability for WhatsApp companies to assign specific chats to specific linked devices
  • An in-app shop where you can shop within WhatsApp (initially limited to India)

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to say when all of these features will make it to the live version of WhatsApp.

How to join WhatsApp Beta

To download WhatsApp Beta for your smartphone, you need to go to Google Play on your smartphone Android and search for whatsapp.

Scroll down the page until you see “Become a Beta Tester”.

Tap the “I’m in” button, then tap “Join” to confirm.

Now all you have to do is wait for the update to the beta version of the app.

Participating in the WhatsApp beta on iPhone is more difficult and has a limited capacity.
