Alice Evans Claims She’s ‘Out of Money for Food and Bills’ While Ioan Gruffudd Breaks Up

Actress Alice Evans is in court with her estranged husband, Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd, 48, who has filed a restraining order against the mother of his two children.

Alice Evans has opened up about her financial struggles with food and bills after admitting she is “having a bit of a hard time”.

Ioan has accused Alice, 53, of making threats against him – including claiming she would “do to him what Amber Heard did to Johnny Depp”. Alice has vehemently denied that she abused her husband.

Alice, who has appeared on hit TV shows such as Lost, The Vampire Diaries and Mentalist, took to Instagram on Saturday to claim she has “absolutely no money” but insists she “will be the one to go” the best mom I could have” for daughter Ella and Elsie.

She posted a video of her youngest daughter Elsie, eight, dancing in slow motion.

Alice wrote: ‘Trying to keep it all back while being threatened, ran out of food and bills and just found out someone tried to break in our front door last night!

“But it’s all worth it! (And one doesn’t want to be photographed right now.)

“Whatevs. Most of all, I will be the best mother I can be. Forever. They will never lose me.

“Thank you so much for the love and support! It was a bit careless!”

She then added: “Thank you very much. Thank you through tears of gratitude.”

Ioan ended his 21-year relationship with Alice in January 2021.

He filed for divorce in March 2021 after 13 years of marriage. Seven months later, he began a romance with Australian actress Bianca Wallace, 30.

Alice has since accused Ioan and Biance of a three-year affair – an allegation both deny.

Last week, Alice shared an emailed love message allegedly sent from her now estranged husband amid their upcoming lawsuit.

The email was posted on her Twitter account, which has since been deleted.

It read: “I am safely in Auckland and just waiting for the gate to open. I love you piece by piece!

“Very impressed that you were a bit ahead of the curve with the official Brisbane news!

“Hope you’re having a good night’s sleep. Come piece xxx. Baby chew xxx.”

Alice captioned the tweet: “This is the night I’ve been waiting all night because we can’t wait to see each other. We will also renew our vows. Does this sound like an abused man to friend?”
