This Morning star says her teenage son Aiden rarely watches his famous mother on TV

Alison Hammond has revealed her teenage son Aiden never watches his famous mother on TV – even though she takes over This Morning every Friday.
The TV beauty has a 17-year-old son with ex-husband Noureddine Boufaied.
Allison became pregnant shortly after appearing in the third series of Big Brother in 2002.
But her biological son was not an avid fan of his mother’s work.
“I’ll be honest with you, he doesn’t [watch]”, she told us in an exclusive interview.
“He watches TikTok and YouTube, and he’s a gamer. I had to go up to him and say, ‘Children, watch TV!’ and then he would turn on the TV and watch it.

“Sometimes I’d come home and he’d say, ‘I watched you today, you were great.’ I said, ‘How much did you watch? Two minutes?!’ “
And Alison tells us she loves being on This Morning as much as we love watching her on it.
Surprised. I have been at This Morning now for 20 years. It’s an absolute must to go to work,” she said.
“I don’t feel like I’ve worked a day in the last 20 years because it’s so lovely.
“I feel so lucky every day because you don’t know when the time is up and when someone else will come in to do it.”

Alison was praised for her candid talk about obesity on air recently and admitted she was “blown away” by the reaction from viewers.
“We’ve had a lot of correspondence from people who resonate with what I’ve said,” she told us.
“I’m just speaking from the heart. I was a bit caught off guard when the caller came in. It’s one of those times when I feel like I have to speak my mind. Sometimes I do too.”

And as an early Big Brother star, what does Alison think of the show’s rumored return?
“I think it’s going to do a great job because we all like a little bit of voyeurism, don’t we?” she speaks.
“See people and what they’re like. We like a bit of drama. Reality TV isn’t over yet, it still has a lot going for it.”

Alison has a new book called Black In Time.
“It’s a book about black figures in history who did amazing, positive things to contribute to the British empire,” she explains.
“I’ve brought my interviewing skills into this book. You’ll see a lot of it, and you’ll hear my voice throughout the book. You’ll literally hear me throughout the process. That’s amazing!”
