Alison and her co-host Dermot O’Leary have encouraged people to call and speak to Vanessa Feltz about the question ‘Am I being unreasonable?’ agony episode.
A woman named Cherry called and asked if she was being unreasonable for wanting to spend more time with her boyfriend.
“We’ve been together for just over a year now and every time I talk about meeting up, going to the movies or bowling or something, he always says, ‘yeah yeah we’ll do it’, but no nothing happened,” Cherry explained.
“And when he came, we just ended up doing one thing and then he walked away,” she added as Vanessa looked shocked.
Offering some advice, Vanessa tells her: “It’s not what I see that you just want to spend time with him, what you want is a real relationship where sex is part of it.
“It seems to me like he’s treating you like a trophy call and you know it and you don’t like it and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to not like it.”
Cherry later revealed that when she tried to talk to him about it last week, they had a “fight” and that he blocked her for 24 hours before contacting her again.
“I just don’t want to be treated like that,” Cherry told Vanessa when she told her she needed to think about ending the relationship.
Alison, 47, feels clear to Cherry and does her best to make her feel better after Vanessa gives her advice.
Oh Cherry, I want to empower you right now and just tell you, there is someone out there who will love you little by little, want to take you out to eat and treat you the way you deserve. treatment,” Alison said.
Cherry can be heard breaking down in tears as Vanessa says, “Here, here,” Cherry thanked them for their advice.
