DRAGON’S Den fans have been left open to a VERY weird business with an X-rated change.
BBC viewers couldn’t believe their eyes when college buddies Rebecca Joy and Natalie Deana ran a vegan handbag business with pornographic elements.
The pair are looking for £50,000 in exchange for a 10% stake in their business – a conscious vegan handbag brand called Frida Rome.
The couple explained that their tagline was “bad girls always do good” – and revealed that they had a unique gift because each bag contained a chapter of porn.
However, the Dragons were robbed by the precious item and blushed upon opening the bag.
Viewers were also baffled by the business idea, with one post: Erotic vegan handbag?! Give me strength. #Dragon’s Cave”
Another wittily wrote: “Walk on Dragon’s Den and throw a bunch of wallets with filthy limes. #DragonsDen”
The third joked, “Strange! They’re more worried about their bad luck stories than actual bags. #DragonsDen”
“I like bags but I don’t understand the sexy stories inside them. #DragonsDen,” another joked
Another quipped: “I myself love erotic socks LOL. #DragonsDen”
Retail entrepreneur Touker Suleyman asked business partners about sustainability and pointed out that they are not quite there yet.
But Peter Jones was more interested in what was inside the bag.
The dragons were left behind when Peter read the bold passage, which he said: “I couldn’t help opening it and inside it had a message that said ‘She looked up and motioned for him to take her away. Still holding his neck, she squeezed him. tighter. He faced her and stopped for the last time.'”
The couple explained that the idea originated simply because they wanted to give their product some personality.
Despite being a fan of vegan handbags, Deborah Meaden is still baffled by the erotic message.
“Just because sometimes you can say too much and to me, this stands on its own,” she explains.
Dragon’s newest Steven Bartlett explains that having a “provocative edge is key” – but wanted to ask the pair how they plan to create a franchise.
Unfortunately, most Dragons can’t see a return on their investment and don’t care about the erotic nature of the product.
However, businessman Steven is very interested in this item and believes there is a market for it.
He went on to offer all the money for 20% of the business.
Rebecca and Natalie were surprised and immediately accepted Steven’s offer and left the cave with £50,000 and the backing of a Dragon.
