Almost 64,000 people have tested positive for Covid-19 since St. Patrick’s Day

ALMOST 64,000 people have tested positive for Covid-19 since St Patrick’s Day and the double bank holiday weekend.
The Health Protection Surveillance Center was informed today of 4,024 PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19.
In addition, as of Sunday March 20, 10,631 people registered a positive antigen test via the HSE portal.
As of Thursday March 17, 5,231 PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19 were reported to the HPSC. 8,322 people registered a positive antigen test via the HSE portal the day before.
As of Friday March 18, 5,628 PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19 were reported to the HPSC. 6,313 people registered a positive antigen test via the HSE portal the day before.
As of Saturday March 19, 4,787 PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19 were reported to the HPSC. 6,774 people registered a positive antigen test via the HSE portal the day before.
As of Sunday March 20, 5,067 PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19 were reported to the HPSC. 7,177 people registered a positive antigen test via the HSE portal the day before.
As of 8 a.m. today, 1,308 Covid-19 patients are in hospital, with 49 in intensive care.
