Almost two weeks since launch, Lost Ark players are still experiencing server issues

Lost beer kegThe excellent action MMORPG took the industry by storm earlier this month Reach over a million concurrent players on Steam shows no sign of losing momentum as time goes on. While this is obviously great news for the entire player base, players on EU servers are not. Still having serious server issues almost two weeks since launch.

This issue has been addressed several times by the developers at Smilegate. Through server maintenance updates, packing stability fixes, along with Opening of the brand new EU West server regionThere’s been a lot of effort to ease the strain on the European Union Central servers.

However, while these efforts have certainly helped prevent the growing pains as new adventures begin to pile up into the game day after day, they haven’t done much to make the machine go away. The EU’s Central owner has a problem of overpopulation. The players here can mostly blame it on a kind of sunk cost fallacy, and it’s hard to blame them…

The most dedicated players, who invested over a hundred hours into their roster on the European Union Central server, couldn’t move their progress to the less stuck grasslands. As such, they would essentially have to start from scratch, throwing their dedicated time into the wind.

Some got hit and moved to these new servers, reports a much improved experience. Even so, the queue is still cumbersome and uncomfortable. Although, it may not be all bad news. There’s hope that the problem might fix itself in the coming weeks, thanks in large part to a series of major releases that could pull players away from Lost Ark, enough for EU Central to finally find some respite. rest.

Destiny 2 launches today on February 22, World of Warcraft’s 9.2 update and of course the Elden Ring hit platforms on February 25 all threaten to pull people away from the hit MMO from Smilegate.

Speaking personally as someone who also refuses to leave their crammed EU Central server, that’s where my hopes lie. The realities of adult life make it difficult to invest as much time as ideal in games, even if your work revolves around them. Having to start over in Lost Ark is more than likely to keep me from playing it completely, and I’m willing to bet I’m not the only one with that sentiment. After investing so much time, the concept of a fresh start is a hard pill to swallow.

What do you think? Are you using it on a busy EU Central server? Or have you made the leap to the lushous plains of the Western EU?
