Amanda Bynes received news on Tuesday that her nine-year conservatorship had ended after both parents supported her efforts to regain control of her own life

Amanda Bynes is ready to put herself first after a judge on Tuesday ended her nine-year conservatorship.
The former Nickelodeon star, 35, was under the law for almost a decade but can now take control of her own personal and financial decisions.
And in a statement too People Speaking of her attorney, David A. Esquibias, the actress said, “Over the past several years I have worked hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in the next chapters.”
“I’m excited about my upcoming endeavors – including my fragrance line – and look forward to sharing more when I can.”
She went on to thank everyone who stood by her over the years as she continued to fight for her freedom, much like Britney Spears had her own conservatory overthrown in November.
The statement continued, “Following the judge’s decision today to end my conservatorship, I want to thank my fans for their love and well wishes during this time.
“I would also like to thank my attorney and my parents for their support over the past nine years.”
A judge ruled Tuesday that her legal order was “no longer necessary.”
Amanda was under the control of her mother, Lynn Bynes, who acted as conservator up to that moment. Her father, Rick Bynes, was another interested party in the case and both had assisted her in her attempts to end the arrangement.
In February, Lynn’s attorney said diversity : “Lynn is very happy and excited and proud of Amanda and ready to finish this conservatorship based on the hard work Amanda has put in.”
She insisted at the time that she believed her daughter’s condition had improved enough for her to regain control of her own life.
Amanda’s attorney said the star has made “significant strides” in her battles with sobriety and bipolar disorder in recent years.
The She’s The Man actress has been sober for a number of years and is doing much better. She also graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and is now also engaged to Beau Paul Michael.
In 2018, she told Paper Magazine about her past drug use, but insisted “those days of experimentation are long gone.”
