VR company AmazeVR and Megan Thee Stallion have teamed up on a virtual reality concert tour, Enter the Hottieverse.

The Enter Thee Hottieverse event will take place in 10 cities across the United States between April and July 2022.

Fans will be able to access “Enter Thee Hottieverse” at participating theaters with the provided VR headsets – or the “Hottie Mounted Displays” as they’re called in the press release announcing details of the partnership.

The VR concert performance will feature a multi-song set that moves through a range of environments, as well as “hot wardrobes designed specifically for the show,” according to AmazeVR.

AmazeVR was founded in 2015 and recently closed a $15 million funding round to support what it then called a “vision for VR concerts.”

The $15 million raised on Jan. 12 brought the Los Angeles and Seoul-based company to $30.8 million to date.

The startup announced in January that its VR concert tour with Megan Thee Stallion “springs from years of research and development” that resulted in proprietary 9K cameras and software that automates “complex” visual effects powered by the Unreal Engine and can run more than 100 headphones at once.
