Amazon Echo Dot 51% cheaper in the pre-Christmas deal

The November sales may be over, but if you’re looking for a smart Amazon device, don’t despair.

The latest 5th-gen Echo Dot is back on sale for £26.99 – that’s the same price as it was on Black Friday.

Last month, Amazon stunned shoppers with a huge wave of price drops on its own tech, including its line of Echo Dot smart speakers.

We were delighted to see the all-new Echo Dot included – and now it’s back at the same huge 51% discount.

The all-new Dot mimics the spherical design of its 4th Gen predecessor, but features a larger 1.73-inch speaker, a temperature sensor, and a touch-sensitive top panel that lets you mute whatever’s playing with a light tap of your hand be able .

We’ll admit that these upgrades aren’t exactly revolutionary, but Amazon is clearly interested in pushing buyers towards the latest generation of Dot since The 4th generation model is bizarrely £28 more expensive.

So if you’ve missed the Black Friday sales and want one of these handy little audio devices, now’s the time to get some – for under £30 they’re pretty good stocking fillers.
