Amazon is selling the popular iPhone model for just £148 – its lowest price ever

AMAZON is selling an iPhone 8 for just £148 in a tempting deal.

The popular handset uses the classic iPhone design with the home button – and has 64GB of storage.

This space gray iPhone model has a 4.5-star rating on Amazon based on over 8,500 reviews.

It’s rare to find an Apple device this cheap.

And now that iPhones are lasting longer than ever, it’s not a bad buy at all.

This particular model is refurbished.

That means it may have been used before, or simply sold and then returned.

But Amazon said it was “professionally inspected, tested and cleaned” by its suppliers.

There are no clearly visible scratches or dents.

Importantly, this is currently one of the cheapest ways to get an iPhone.

According to an Amazon price tracker, this particular device has never been sold cheaper.

And the iPhone is backed by a one-year Amazon Renewed warranty.

So if you are not satisfied within the first year, you can request a replacement or refund.

The handset comes with a SIM remover, charger and charging cable.

But you still have to buy your own SIM card – just like with a regular iPhone.

Apple released the iPhone 8 back in September 2017, so it’s not that old.

The iPhone 8 features a crystal-clear 4.7-inch Retina display, a robust A11 processor and Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

The rear-facing 12-megapixel camera can record 4K videos at 60 frames per second and create Super Slow-Mo videos by recording Full HD footage at 240 frames per second.

Apple’s new iPhone 8 also supports wireless charging (via Qi charging pads) – but you’ll have to pay extra for the separately available accessories.

The handset is also fully waterproof – so you can use it in the rain (but not in the shower).

Importantly, the iPhone 8 still gets iOS updates.

That means it can access the latest features and security patches in the latest iOS 15 upgrade.

It looks very likely that it will also support the big iOS 16 update coming later this year.
