AMAZON has unveiled a new version of the Kindle – featuring a stylus for the first time – at a special event currently taking place.
The high-tech e-reader lands just in time for Christmas – and are at the top of the shopping lists for Black Friday 2022.
New Kindle Scribe – with a stylus
It lands about a year after the 11th gen Kindle.
But unlike any Kindle before it, this new Kindle Scribe model lets you interact with a pen.
It has a 10.2-inch, 300ppi display that Amazon says fits more words than ever.
Amazon slimmed the device down at 5.8mm and includes basic and premium pen options.
The new premium stylus pen from Amazon has a special eraser, a shortcut button and attaches magnetically to the outside of the device.
The Basic pen does not include the eraser button or the shortcut button.
Amazon wants you to use the Scribe pen to create to-do lists, journal, and take notes.
The pen doesn’t need to be charged, which gives it a slight advantage over a pen like this Apple Pencil.
The Kindle has a Paperwhite display that is front-lit and “glare-free.”
It’s available to pre-order today for £329.99/$329.99 and will ship later this year.
