Amber Heard breaks down in court after telling trial Johnny Depp sexually assaulted her with a bottle

A sobbing Amber Heard opened up about a fight in Australia with Johnny Depp in which she claims he sexually assaulted her with a vodka bottle.
The defamation trial between Mr. Depp and Ms. Heard began Monday, April 11, in Fairfax, Virginia, following Mr. Depp’s lawsuit against his ex-wife in March 2019. Mr. Depp argues that she killed him in a December In a 2018 commentary published in The Washington, I defamed a post titled, “I spoke out against sexual violence — and faced the wrath of our culture.” That needs to change.”
Speaking of the March 2015 incident in Australia, Ms Heard said Mr Depp had “lost a ton of weight so I knew something was wrong”.
“The first night … when he pushed me, I skidded across the floors … it was so easy for him to throw me around like that,” she said.
She added that Mr. Depp grabbed her by the neck and banged her head against the wall. Ms Heard said she slept behind a “barricaded” door and took sleeping pills to get to sleep. Waking up, she said Mr Depp was “still awake” on the second day.
Ms Heard said they had a falling out over drugs, including MDMA. “He took a handful of pills…either eight or ten pills…MDMA,” she said.
She added that Mr Depp accused her of not liking his sister and that he was upset with actors she had worked with, including Eddie Redmayne in The Danish Girl.
By March 2015, Ms Heard said she had heard Mr Depp use the phrase “The only way out of this is death” about 25 times in reference to their relationship.
In a subsequent fight, Ms Heard said Mr Depp slammed her “hard” against the walls and called her a “whore, bitch, fatass”.
She added that he would drink in front of her “as a show of force.” She claimed Mr Depp said others had warned him about her and that “nobody” liked her. She said she pushed him off and he replied, “Do you want to go, little girl?” and continued to lead her to a gaming table and that he kept “slapping” her in the face.

Ms Heard testified that Mr Depp “mocked” her for taking a bottle from him. She said she finally grabbed it and “smashed it onto the floor” which “really threw him off balance” and that he “backhanded” her and threw a bottle at her.
She added that he later had a “broken bottle” in front of her face and said he would “dismember” it.
Ms Heard said she doesn’t remember if she threw anything in his direction, but she doesn’t think she did.
“He threw those bottles one after the other and I felt glass shatter behind me,” she said, adding that he ripped her nightgown off.
“He’s yelling at me that he hates me and that I’ve ruined his life,” Ms Heard said. “I fucking hate you, you ruined my fucking life.”
Ms Heard said Mr Depp’s eyes had “turned black” and she “could no longer see him”.
“I’ve never been so scared in my entire life,” she added. Ms Heard said Mr Depp was on her and she tried to tell him he was “really hurting me”.
“I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t get through to him, I couldn’t get up … I don’t know what happened next,” Ms Heard said.
Depp took one of the bottles and inserted it into her vagina, she said.
“He kept shoving it inside me, over and over,” said Heard, who looked down, shook her head, and sobbed as she described the encounter. She said she kept thinking that she hoped the bottle wasn’t one of the broken ones.
During the attack, Depp repeatedly said, “I’m going to kill you,” she told jurors.
“I was scared,” she added. “I had just married him.”
Depp (58) testified at the beginning of the trial that he never hit Heard and argued that she was the perpetrator.
“I could feel this pressure on my pubic bone,” she added, saying that it “looked like” Mr. Depp was “slapping” her, adding that there were “broken bottles, broken glass” throughout the room .
She said she didn’t want to move “because I didn’t know if it was broken, I didn’t know if the bottle he had in me was broken.”
“I couldn’t feel it, I couldn’t feel any pain,” she added.
The court was previously shown messages and “memoirs” that Mr Depp scrawled in blood and paint after he severed his finger in a fight in which he claims Ms Heard threw two bottles of vodka at him.
Testifying about the incident early in the trial, Mr Depp told the court: “It all got too crazy.”
Mr Depp said: “I was a mess, I was a wreck, I was shaking” as he tried to avoid Ms Heard.
He recalled pouring himself two or three “stiff shots of vodka,” adding that it was the “first taste of alcohol I’ve had in a long time.”
The actor said Ms Heard yelled “Oh you’re drinking again” when she found him.
“She walked up to me, grabbed the bottle of vodka and then just stepped back and threw it at me,” he said. “It just went past my head and hit behind me.”
Mr Depp testified that he grabbed another, larger bottle of vodka and poured himself another shot as Ms Heard “hurled insults left, right and centre”.
“She then took this bottle and threw it at me,” Mr Depp said, demonstrating to the jury how he was sitting at the time. He said his fingers rested on the bar’s edge and the large vodka bottle “touched and shattered everywhere.”
“I didn’t feel any pain at first,” he said. “I felt heat and like something was dripping from my hand.”
“I was looking straight at my protruding bones,” he added. “Blood just flowed.”
“I don’t know what a nervous breakdown feels like, but I’ve probably never been this close,” he said. “Nothing made sense and I knew in my head and in my heart that this is not life.”
“Nobody should have to go through that,” he added.
Mr Depp was in the midst of something of a nervous breakdown and said he had started “writing on the walls in my own blood”.
“Little memories from our past that basically represented lies she told me and lies I caught her telling,” he said, adding that he hid in a bathroom and texted his doctor, to come over.
Mr Depp showed the injured finger to the court and said the bones had been “crushed” and it looked like “Vesuvius”, referring to the Italian volcano.
Mr Depp said he couldn’t remember what Ms Heard said after seeing his injury.
“It was almost like white noise, just someone screaming,” he said. “It was just a constant onslaught of high-pitched insults, it was just jumbled words at a very high frequency and I was a bit in shock.”
In her 2018 comment, Ms Heard wrote: “Like many women, I was molested and sexually assaulted when I was college-age. But I was silent – I didn’t expect that filing complaints would bring justice. And I didn’t see myself as a victim.”
“Then two years ago, I became a public figure representing domestic violence, and I felt the full brunt of our culture’s anger at women speaking out,” she added at the time.
While Mr Depp is not named in the piece, his legal team argues that it contains a “clear implication that Mr Depp is a domestic abuser”, which they say is “categorically and demonstrably false”. Mr Depp is seeking “not less than $50 million” in damages.
Ms Heard has filed a $100 million counterclaim against Mr Depp for harassment and immunity from his allegations.
