Amber Heard claims Johnny Depp has erectile dysfunction, court documents reveal

Amber Heard’s legal team claimed that Johnny Depp suffered from erectile dysfunction, according to newly unsealed court documents filed in the former couple’s defamation case.

Lawyers for the 36-year-old “Aquaman” actress argued in a March 28 filing obtained by Fox News Digital that alleged impotence may have contributed to Depp’s alleged violent behavior and alleged use of a liquor bottle to rape Heard during a fight . The Pirates of the Caribbean star has consistently denied Heard’s allegations of rape and violence.

“While Mr. Depp would prefer not to disclose his condition of erectile dysfunction, such a condition is absolutely relevant to sexual violence, including Mr. Depp’s anger and use of a bottle to rape Amber Heard,” alleged Heard’s lead attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, in the file for the outlet.

The attorney further claimed, “Mr. Depp’s erectile dysfunction makes it more likely that upon encounters with Amber Heard, Mr. Depp would be angry or excited and would reach for a bottle.”

Bredehoft also wrote in the filing that Depp allegedly took Cialis pills, which are used to treat male sexual function problems.

Depp’s attorney called the attempt to document parts of the actor’s medical history in court, but according to the unsealed documents, “nothing more than sheer harassment.”

During her two-month defamation trial in Fairfax County, Va., Heard testified that the 59-year-old actor allegedly entered her with a Maker’s Mark bottle in a drug-fuelled rage in 2015 while he was watching “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” ” in Australia.

“I thought he was going to hit me. I felt that pressure. I felt this pressure on my pubic bone,” she claimed while crying hysterically during the trial. “I didn’t know if the bottle he had in me was broken.”

Also among the unsealed documents was a statement from Heard, in which she claimed Depp sexually assaulted her when the actor got angry about his alleged impotence.

“He wouldn’t get an erection and would get mad at me. I call it “angry sex” that Johnny couldn’t fully perform. He threw me on the bed, he did that several times, and he angrily pushed himself on me,” she claimed.

Depp has claimed he never physically or sexually assaulted Heard or any other woman. He accused Heard of being the culprit in the relationship.

Judge Penney Azcarate, the lead judge on the case, dismissed the evidence of Depp’s alleged condition, although the jury in court saw a medical record that listed Cialis as one of the actor’s medications.

On June 1, the defamation trial between Depp and Heard ended with a jury finding that the “London Fields” actress defamed Depp in her 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post for being a victim of domestic violence.

Depp was awarded a total of $10.35 million in compensatory and punitive damages. Heard was awarded $2 million for winning one of her counterclaims against her ex-husband over his attorney Adam Waldman’s comments.

However, the case seems far from over as both sides have appealed the verdict.

Heard and Depp representatives have not commented on the unsealed court documents.
