Amber Heard gives more details on Johnny Depp’s ‘disgusting’ abuse
Amber Heard detailed additional counts of “disgusting” verbal and physical abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of Johnny Depp while continuing to testify in the US defamation trial.
Fairfax County District Court urors heard the relationship became a “constant struggle” and that Mr. Depp had particular issues with her professional relationship with actor James Franco, whom he “hated.”
They were also played audio clips of an incident on an airplane in May 2014, in which Ms Heard claims she was kicked in the back by the actor, who was so drunk he was “howling like an animal”.

Mr Depp is suing Ms Heard for defamation over a 2018 article she wrote in the Washington Post which his lawyers wrongly say physically and sexually abused her when they were together.
The actor has denied all allegations.
Ms Heard continued her testimony on Thursday, recalling the plane incident in which her former partner allegedly threw things and kicked her in front of friends and co-workers.
“I just knew every cell in my body that something was wrong,” she said, describing seeing Mr. Depp board the plane.
“He stinks of weed and alcohol and his breath smelled so bad. I could foresee that there was a no-win situation here.

She continued, “He said really gross things about my body … and then he just started insulting me. And this is happening in front of everyone.
Ms Heard said she moved the seats on the plane several times and Mr Depp threw “ice cubes and paraphernalia” at her before sitting in front of her and slapping her in the face.
“I walk away from him, my back turns and I feel that boot on my back. He just kicked me in the back,” she said.
“I fell to the ground and it felt like I was staring at the bottom of the plane for a long time.
“Nobody said anything, nobody did anything, you could hear a pin drop on that plane, you could feel the tension.”
Audio was again played to the court in which Mr Depp could be heard moaning, which Ms Heard described as “howling like an animal”.
Mr Heard later described how she was “constantly attending to his changing moods” as he was on various medications to help him detox from drugs.

The Aquaman star first took the witness stand on Wednesday and tearfully described other incidents of alleged violence, including one in which Mr Depp performed a “cavity search” on her.
She told the court the early days of their relationship were “a beautiful and strange time” and that she “fell head over heels in love with Mr Depp”.
On both days, Mr Depp failed to make eye contact with Ms Heard while she was giving evidence.
Outside the courthouse, hundreds of fans queued to get inside to see the trial, some had camped on the grounds overnight – contrary to a previous police order.
The high level of public interest has resulted in limited capacity for journalists who are also trying to get into the courtroom.
