A yellow weather warning for ice has been extended until tomorrow.
The Met Office extended the warning originally put in place yesterday until 9am today.
The new warning states that lying snow and ice are to be expected, which will lead to difficult traffic conditions.
It is valid until 11 a.m. tomorrow.
The meteorologist says patches of ice can be expected on some dirt roads, sidewalks and bike lanes.
It also warns against slipping on icy surfaces.
A spokesman said: “Travel conditions will remain difficult until Monday due to snow on Sunday night.
“After some thawing of lying snow on Monday, icy sections develop on untreated surfaces on Monday evening and overnight.”
Temperatures in Brighton remain around 1C today with highs of 3C.
