Are we allowed to call this a zombie movie? Developed for television by franchise creators Neil Druckmann and Chernobyl writer Craig Mazin, Our last inspired by an award-winning video game about a world-weary smuggler hired to protect and transport a critically important teenager — and possibly humanity’s savior — across post-apocalyptic America. There may be monsters ahead. Game of Thrones alumnus Pedro Pascal and co-star Bella Ramsey.

Hey guys, remember That’s 70 performances? Well, here’s the glitzy period spinoff that no one asked for. Yep, we’re back to the Forman family and the official synopsis mentions something about Eric and Donna’s teenage child (gasp!) staying with Grandpa Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Grandma Kitty (gasp!) Debra Jo Rupp) during the summer. But that does not matter. It is important that most of the original cast (including Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher) are involved. It can be fun.
Fleishman is in trouble

Jesse Eisenberg leads the way in this elaborately staged play based on Taffy Brodesser-Akner’s best-selling novel. Eisenberg is Toby Fleishman, a 41-year-old divorced Manhattanite whose mind is all over the store. He had only just started dating again when suddenly, his ex-wife disappeared. Now, Toby is raising two children alone – the perfect time for an existential crisis. Claire Danes, Lizzy Caplan, Adam Brody and Christian Slater assist.
True Detective
(Sky/Now, TBC release date)
Do we really need another round True Detective? Sure is not. Are we intrigued by the prospect of Jodie Foster’s massive litigation? You bet. The fourth iteration of this hit-and-miss anthology stars Foster as a troubled crime-solver investigating the disappearance of six men at a research station in Alaska. Kali Reis plays the partner and Christopher Eccleston and Fiona Shaw play the lead roles. It can be a feeling.

Superstar producers Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg (brother band, Pacific) reunites in another World War II epic, this time from the perspective of the United States Army Air Forces. Austin Butler, last seen shaking his hips as the king of rock ‘n’ roll in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, depicting a handsome pilot. Callum Turner, Barry Keoghan and Fionn O’Shea are included. Write it in as a grand prize candidate.

Screenwriter David E Kelley and director Regina King deliver their long-awaited adaptation of Tom Wolfe’s trickier novel. Jeff Daniels plays an Atlanta real estate mogul facing bankruptcy. Diane Lane is an arrogant ex-wife who will do anything to maintain her status. This sinister story is much more than falling bank balances and desperate entrepreneurs. William Jackson Harper and Lucy Liu co-star.
Daisy Jones & Six
(Prime Video, March 3rd)
Based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s best-selling novel, this up-and-coming musical-drama tells the fictional story of a popular 1970s rock band who made their way to the pinnacle of fame their hopes. Decades later, the members of “The Six” (which was inspired by Fleetwood Mac) told their stories for the first time. Reese Witherspoon is an executive producer, while the wonderful Sam Claflin and Riley Keough share the top payout. We are very happy.
Love and death
(Sky Atlantic / Now, TBC release date)
Do not tune your TV. In fact, this is another high-profile retelling of the Candy Montgomery story. Jessica Biel plays the famous Texas housewife accused of murdering her neighbor last year Candy — and now it’s time for Elizabeth Olsen to shine. Written by David E Kelley (yes, him again) and introduced by Jesse Plemons. Careful careful.
Boiling point
(BBC, mid-2023)
Cinematic Spotlight in 2022, by Philip Barantini Boiling point imagined a particularly stressful night for an exhausted chef (the one-of-a-kind Stephen Graham) at a posh London restaurant. The film was shot in a single shot, and this five-part television sequel promises to at least learn the witchcraft technique employed by its theatrical predecessor. This time, chef Carly (Vinette Robinson) is running the show. Graham co-stars and executive producer.

Where do we go next? The last time we saw them, the Roy siblings were brilliant and really snobby. Father Logan (Brian Cox) has secretly summoned his ex-wife to ensure that their children have no say in the future of his company. Or something.
It all happened so fast, but we know this: Tom (the great Matthew Macfadyen) really sold his soul to the devil, and we can’t wait to see what his wife Shiv (Sarah Snook) says. what about that.

Their movies are already starting to hit the market, but the folks at Marvel Studios continue to impress on the small screen, and this explosive new spy thriller — based on a fan-favorite comic book story favorite — will probably be another hit for producer Kevin Feige et al. Samuel L Jackson is back SHIELD director Nick Fury to wage war on an invisible breed of extraterrestrial tourists. Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman and our own co-star Killian Scott.

Little is known about this populous ensemble other than a) it is an anthology series on climate change, and b) Meryl Streep is in it. It was the first bit that worried us. Edward Norton, Marion Cotillard, Sienna Miller, Tobey Maguire and Kit Harrington join Meryl. Extraordinary company – let’s hope it’s not too preachy.

Swede Rebecca Ferguson stands before a gripping new sci-fi epic set in a turbulent, toxic future where humans retreat underground. Why, exactly, we’re not entirely sure — and neither are the people who live there. Speed writer Graham Yost adapted the famous novel by Hugh Howey. Tim Robbins, Rashida Jones and David Oyelowo feature.

Sarah Goldberg (Barry) and Susan Stanley (Hotel Amenities) wrote and starred in this original “dark comedy” about two women — one born in Canada, the other in Ireland — who discover that they are related. So embark on an epic journey to track down their alcoholic father and mend the family bond. Delightful Declan Lowney (Ted Lasso, Partridge Alan) command.
Sex education

Everyone’s favorite high school melodrama is back for a fourth season. The fun doesn’t last forever, and with Emma Mackey’s film career beginning to take off, we wonder how much longer it will be before we bid farewell to the students and staff of Moordale High School. Present, Sex education is one of the best shows on Netflix and this latest season is welcome Schitt . Creek star Dan Levy into the lineup.
Chemistry Lessons

Oscar winner Brie Larson heads up this highly anticipated adaptation of the Bonnie Garmus novel. Set in the 1950s, Chemistry Lessons tells the story of aspiring scientist Elizabeth Zott (Larson), who is not allowed to follow her dream. One story led to another, and in the end, she got a job as a cooking TV host. She decided to use her new platform to teach America something about how the world really works. Lewis Pullman and co-star Beau Bridges.

Another homegrown crime thriller — and this one is based on true events. Charlene McKenna plays a young housewife desperately trying to hide her murderous past from her detective husband (Barry Ward). Good luck with that, Charlene. The screenplay is written by Gary Tieche and directed by Ronan Burke.
Queen Charlotte: The Bridgerton Story

Everything you need to know is in the title. Netflix’s romantic and fruity historical drama gets its first spin-off with eight prequels about young Queen Charlotte. The returning cast of Golda Rosheuvel shares the eponymous role with young India Amarteifio. You know how these things go. It could be huge.
