The best waterfront pub in Sussex
Anchor Inn and boating
It is situated on the west bank of the River Ouse in one of the most unspoilt parts of the Sussex countryside.
Offering a unique drinking house experience, the Anchor Inn has a fleet of rowboats that guests can use to cruise the river before heading back for some liquid refreshments.
The kitchen uses local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible, with most suppliers being within a 25 mile radius of the pub.
The bar offers everything you would expect from real ales and local ciders to carefully selected wines, whiskeys, gins and spirits.
