Andrew Crofts expects Albion to be ready to face Bournemouth – despite the loss of Graham Potter and his coaching staff.
The former midfielder will be in charge on an interim basis when the Seagulls return to the Premier League on Saturday.
Crofts, who completed first-team practice this morning, said: “The lads have been great, the energy has been really good.
“You know there will be disappointment with Graham and the staff leaving the club because of the relationships they have built.
“But we talked about it and the boys immediately wanted to work on the training ground and because they are so professional they couldn’t wait to train.
“The energy and intensity was really good, it was a really positive morning in terms of the work we got done on the pitch.”
