Angelina Jolie said she and her two sons “work well together”.
The 47-year-old mother of six has worked with two of the kids, Maddox and Pax Jolie-Pitt, which she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt, while directing her latest film Without Blood. .
Speaking to People magazine, Oscar winner Jolie said: “We work well together. When a crew is at their peak, they feel like a big family, so it’s natural.”
Maddox, 21, and Pax, 18, are said to be working in the assistant director’s department on the film Without Blood.
Regarding her son Maddox, with whom Jolie previously worked on the 2017 film First They Killed My Father, she said “(he) worked hard”.
Jolie also expressed her pride in all of her children, telling the publication: “I am proud that they are all their own people.”
She added: “Very different and still a very close family and learning from each other.”
No Blood is Jolie’s first project with production company Freemantle, with whom she signed a three-year contract earlier this year.
The agreement will see Jolie produce, direct, and/or star in internationally focused films, TV series, and documentaries within the agreed time period.
The American actress, who is best known for films like Girl, Interrupt, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Mr & Mrs Smith, also dwarfs Salma Hayek and Demian Bichir, who both starred in Without Blood.
She said: “Salma and Demian are so authentic and brave in this film. I used to be a fan of their work.

“I knew they would bring commitment and solid visuals to the film but honestly, both blew me away.”
The plot of the film, based on Alessandro Baricco’s 2002 novel of the same name, has been well kept under wraps, but Jolie spoke about the book’s impact on her, saying: “The book had an impact. to me like it has a lot of others. It brings important topics and questions to discussion. “
