The former 90210 actress took to social media on Thursday, sharing a video of herself reading a poem to the Russian president, as she tried to imagine being his mother.

“Dear President Vladimir Putin, I am sorry that I am not your mother,” AnnaLynne began.

“If I were your mother, you would be so loved, held in the arms of the light of happiness. Never mind the circumstances of this story, the world opened up before our eyes,” she continued.

“If I were your mother, the world would be so warm. Lots of laughs and fun, and no harm done,” said 34-year-old reader.

AnnaLynne has been mocked and criticized for choosing to post her video on the very day Russian troops began invading Ukraine, but she has hit back at the malicious comments, as she confessed that she may have ended up like Putin.

“I know how easily I can go in the direction of becoming a dictator,” she said News about BuzzFeed.
